ANNOUNCEMENT
On February 25, 2022, news circulated on Facebook and in certain sections of the Armenian press claiming that the Spiritual Head of the Armenian Catholic Community of Istanbul and Turkey, Most Rev. Archbishop Levon Zekiyan, has resigned from his position. We hereby declare that this news is completely baseless, and Most Rev. Archbishop Levon Zekiyan remains in office.
We wish to remind everyone that the only reliable source of news regarding the Archeparchy should be considered announcements issued directly in the name of the Archeparchy.
